OMG did I hear MAF????  This whole site is dedicated to running Native SD code.  There is nothing positive that a MAF sensor can provide.  Drivability???  Nope if its tuned right, SD will outperform every time.....More Power????  Nope....Less restriction due to not having a MAF sensor in the way to disrupt the airflow....  Honestly, Speed Density is the best and only option in my book for any turbo car when making it perform better.....  Again just my thoughts....

The only thing is, I'm sure Brian gets guys that are like skiddish little cats. So you gotta ease them into whatever it is your trying to do.

Maybe, just maybe, if/when I get time, I may take a stock e931, and just redo the face of jackal for them. But that is a long ways off, and the way things are now.. I'd honestly be surprised if anyone is actually remotely interested in maf setups at all.

But again I don't own a shop, so I don't know what the client and tell is.

Hoping to get a car idling today on it.

Preliminary fuel / timing maps seem to be responding to changes.... just working out the kinks..  8;)

Good things happen for those who wait.  Awesome work hak!!   And please, no MAFs or stock narrow band o2 sensors options!  Native SD and native WB!!  We don't need any of those useless options.

Actually i prefer the maf but we don't need to start a debate.

I would absolutely love your interface on the e391 with the big maps and closed loop trims.

+1 on a maf option.

For a mostly stock or similar car.  Still HUGE tuning capability, but no drivability problems, no retuning when you change things like cams, turbo, exhaust etc.

For the wifes car, for a car that needs to just drive fine all the time where you have no time for tuning etc.

Not a priority for sure, get WW out, get logger cables out, maybe somewhere down the road.

its just such a nice simple way to tune, quick simple uploads, easy to understand.

Or hell, how about once everyone is on WW, make Jackal have a Maf option.  Tick in box, 3 others are not greyed out, 1g, 2g, Evo.

I still don't see where you maf guys constantly say "driveability" problems when referring to speed density.  I live in Florida, NW Florida to be exact which means the weather changes from 70 degrees with 100% humidity, 93 degrees with 97% humidity, or 40 degrees the next day or two and I have yet to run into a single drive-ability problem with my car.  In fact, it runs a thousand times better on SD then it EVER did with ANY MAF.  The name is Jackal and Werewolf SPEED DENSITY.  Not Jackal and Werewolf "Just sit back, relax, and let it do everything for you".

Next thing you people will ask for is more sliders, and some clamps.

My knowledge on how MAF works is limited but having driven DSM's on MAF and driven on SD, at this point in my experience I prefer SD.

That's not to say however I don't think a MAF option is a bad idea.  Some people for whatever reason may prefer to continue to use a MAF so I don't see how marketing to that demographic could be a bad thing.

I own my own side business/LLC and I quickly learned that limiting myself to only one way of doing things is nowhere near as good an option as providing different options.  It gives the customer a choice, and customers like choices.

I would like speed density but the entire ecu code will need to be re-written. :)

And what your implying is ?

So im kinda new to this but what's the big difference between jackal and wearwolf?

Pressure based fuel and timing
10k rpm
hopefully a better logging interface (faster than stock)
hopefully a much better closed loop
map tracing
realtime editing
and some other stuff ive forgotten
