Idle switch is needed so the injectors turn off when your coasting, engine braking, etc.

You can block the FIAC and ISC if you want.. going to need to feather the throttle awhile till its warm.

I just learned something :clap I never new you needed the idle switch. I thought it was for the a/c and now I feel stupid. :-X Mine has not been hooked up in over a year and when I let off the gas its jumpy, I just thought I had a race car. Now I need to go plug it in and see if it is smooth. :facepalm

I have no isc, and my fiav is open when cold, so it revs higher, untill the coolant warms upp then it idles down. cold weather is not a problem.

My car would not run when i accedently pulled off my idle switch wire.

This will not cool off your intake charge.
Buy an idle air motor.

Take your multi meter and test the coils. Then go to the junk yard and find some there and test those. Get the one that test good on the coils that are bad on yours. Take that thing apart, desolder the bad coil and throw it away. Now take the junkyard coil and desolder the good coil and solder it into your coil housing, put it all back together, tada! Good working isc. I have done this with no ill affects. I keep it as a spare. Or goto orielys and get one for 100.00 with a lifetime warranty.
