Here take a quick look
« on: February 20, 2012, 09:05:18 AM »
After my car idles for a while it starts to richen out and sputter and almost stalls, it needs to idle for a little more than five minutes for this to happen

Heres a screen shot pretty vague but its something,  coolant temp is dead in the middle of the gauge and ignore the EGT and TPS they aren't hooked up correctly

I don't see IAT's.

You sure you aren't starting with a heat soaked IAT, that eventually cools down ?

Presterone you should be able to save your logs and then post them up on here, exactly as to how you save them and what not  I don't now have been a little out of the loop and now playing catch up.

assuming everything is hooked up correctly and the engine is in good shape, then I say your engine is either leaning out or richening up as the coolant temp or IAT rises from sitting.

If the wideband shows lean, add some fuel in those temp compensation areas.  If it shows rich, take some out.

hood open or hood closed should be able to give you a clue as to if its in the IAT or coolant temp.  IE, the IAT sensor will heat soak idling with the hood closed much more quickly than with the hood open.
