Aem 3.5 to 5 bar max VE
« on: May 15, 2017, 12:17:13 PM »
Just switched out the arm 3.5 bar to an aem 5 bar. Everything was way lean. Dialed in idle. Then I went for a cruise. I ended up maxing the VE table out 27 psi and up at 199. Afrs are steady all the way through.
Am I missing something?
Do I need to be adjusting the hard VE?

I should also add that I used the same map as the 3.5 and just went from there. I'm going to start fresh with the 2.0 basemap.
Another question. If I raise the injector size that will decrease my afrs throughout the whole VE map Yeah? And when is adjusting the inj size a good idea.

Ya best to just decrease injector size if you're running out of table room.

Thanks. I ended up reloading the 2.0 basemap and started fresh.
Instead of adjust the row multiplier I adjusted the whole map till I ran out then used the row multiplier to get more.
I also lowered injectors by 100cc
