If its got no charging dock, then it prolly reset it self. I have owned 2 palms, M150 and a M100 i think, and if they stayed unplugged for a couple days, they  reset and I had to upload mmcd again.

I guess I could post up mmSD again. You know that program that 'other' people don't think I wrote.. lol Even though I'm in the about, and there is a 2007 forum with a bunch of the 'other' people testing it as I put in the math for the sensors.

Do you want mmSD ?

http://forums.ds-map.net/logging/mmsd-(deprecated-and-no-longer-supported)/

it is legacy, i cannot do anything with it, the palm will not compile anymore information into it, all you get is what its got.. can't do anything more at all. Architecture limitation.

I just used wire connectors, and connected a 3 wire pigtail to the harness behind the obd port. So I can use the obd port and hook the palm into the 3 wire pigtial.

But I switched out the 3 wire pigtail and put in a female 6 wire pigtail, but only used 3 wires.

The male end of the 6 wire pigtail has 6 wires from it. 3 go to a 9 pin serial connector wired with risistors and diodes  for the palm. The other 3 go to another 9 pin connector wired with the 2 and 3 reversed, for the laptop.

So I can reach down , unplug  and spin the connector at the obdport, and have 2 serials hanging from the dash. One for the palm, one for the laptop.. and then one more from the ostrich.

I never plugged anything intom the red wire/ fuse block position. Just the 3 wires into the obd port.
