A fellow bulgarian member here advised me to get a PCI-Express RS232 card for my laptop. So it works perfectly with my corssover cable (described in the begining of this thread). No need of additional adapters or convertors.

make sure pins 2 and 3 are in the right direction ?

Once I got my pins right... It wouldnt work cause I had my diode backwards
