Hey there man. Just in case you are not sure about the whole process, here is a little run down. First make sure and download Java6 to your computer. Now if you are running 64bit windows, you need to make sure and uninstall any versions of Java that are 32bit. Now when downloading the 64bit Java, you have to tell it explicitly to not get the 32 bit one. After that, you need to download the Ostrich drivers and install them. Then, you need to make sure you have your serial-usb adapter drivers installed. For example I have a keyspan, so I downloaded and installed those drivers. Next, you need to plug in your ostrich into your computer, by way of a keyspan or other serial-usb adapter that works, or by using Hak's datalogging cable. Once you have everything plugged in and installed, you can fire up Jackal or Werewolf, in my case, and then it should load up. Once it does, the Ostrich button should become visible in the file menu. If you click on it, it will have an option to create a key. Click that and it will make a custom key for your Ostrich and yours only. Then you need to take that key and email Hak in the appropriate form that he has posted in the keying process. Once you do that, he will send you a new key. You then get rid of the old key and place the new one sent from Hak into the same folder that the old key was in. Once you do that, everything should be good to go. If you have any questions still, feel free to ask and/or hit us up. Goodluck.....
