Does any one tune with one of those ACer Aspire One 8.9" netbooks? Could be getting one for free, Think I might mount it in the dash hehe.

I use an Acer d255 netbook for all of my tuning needs. Jackal, link, TMOlogger, Palm emulator, Tunerpro, etc... works great.  The nice thing about a netbook is the battery life and it's physical weight.  I don't usually "mount" it anywhere... it's used too often for other peoples cars.

Soo I bought a Acer 10" netbook.. And stuck a MOATES.NET sticker on it!
Would put a DSMAP sticker on it if one was available!

So Now I copied and pasted my jackal folder from my other laptop on to this one and it looks fine. I havent hooked it up to the car as its been really cold here. Since the key file was transferred with the copy, will it work the same on this computer or do i have to get a new key?

Should work fine. You'll enjoy tuning with a netbook over a 10 year old HP that runs out of battery in 10 minutes.  :clap

Everything should work..

If it has Windows 7 / Vista, you may need to disable UAC (User Access Control).. that is about it.
