so probably a stupid question but when setting up the studderbox i read it uses the vss but how does that work on a 5 speed with a speedo cable i may be wrong but as far as i know there is no electronic speed sensor so do i just need to do the clutch wire??

if I recall correctly the 1g dsm's  vss is a small box on the back of your gauge cluster... mine reads 2 mph when sitting parked lol... I think when it is under 8 mph on the logger is when the studder works.. no need to add any wires..

what I did was change the setting down to 2500 rpm's and tested it.. it worked so I moved it up to 4500 where it sits at now. hope this helps.
