Dont forget the Freescale sensors.....  They have 3 bar, 4 bar and 5 bar Map Sensors.....  Also, I know Hak doesnt like them, but omnipower has map sensors that are basically freescale sensors minus one thing.  Im sure he will chime in here and remind me what it is.  I know he doesnt like them cause honestly they are way overpriced considering the freescale sensors are so cheap.  The only reason I ever even used to consider them was because they have some in GM housings that are clean looking.

Mass Air flow sensor

just got a mass air flow sensor changed it does not seem much difference does it take few miles to kick in still coming up as error code mass air sensor after i fitted it.

Ok, so let me get this straight, correct me if Im reading into this incorrectly, your on DS-Map, which is the online forum for jackal and you just changed out your MAF sensor to a new MAF sensor and it drives a little bit before it kicks in and then it throws a code?  If you running Jackal like everyone here and your using a MAF, then you have a huge problem.  IF this is the case, which is what you posted, then your running the wrong type of sensor.  Your better off with the stock ecu without running jackal.  Im not sure how its even running being that they are two different sensor types, unless the ECU is going straight into some sort of limp mode and running super rich to be safe...Hopefully you just made a typo and if so, then disregard everything I just wrote....  Good luck....

I'm using an omni power 4 bar here.  It doesn't quite read right but it wasn't too hard to tune around it.  The map sensor shows i'm still in vacuum up until around 2psi of boost.  But it seems perfectly accurate at 20 on up to 30+ psi of boost.

hmmm interesting.....I could have swore the omni power 4 bars were the same exact sensor as the 4 bar freescale, minus some little circuitry or something... Hak will know..... :)

Yes from all the pictures it appears that the omnipower sensors are a 50000000000% markup  :shakefist. And they do not include the power or output filters.

Hey red97rum, I to have a omnipower 4 bar and they are now fixed in the new version, 1.0.5, and read correctly.  We stayed up late last night and part of today getting it fixed and I know for a fact that they are correct now, so you should enjoy.

Im using a GM 3bar that i changed the part number to a brand we stock works fine.
