i bought the ecu, maf to iat/map harness and data logging cable from a guy on galantvr4.com , who said that is was from a running car so far i have been unable to figure out how the data logger works and that the map and or harness may be bad blahhh.

On VR4's there is 2 green with yellow stripe wires

so i bought a new map senor and the harness from full throttle with map and iat connected car falls flat and stalls when i disconnect it will idle, is the harness correct or are the pins diffrent from 1g to galant, or do i have to set that ia m using a 3bar sensor some how??

I see your car is a 1992..  Was this ECU from a 1990 by chance?  If so you need to swap pins 6 & 14 at the ecu before it will work.  Sorry if this was covered already in the thread.  I'm busy at work and didn't have time to read through it.

no reply from the guy i bought the ecu from but i swapped pins 6 and 14 just to give it a try no luck, same issue still stars and stalls

It dying after start suggests to me the map sensor is not hooked up, or is bad.

Check your wiring against, http://wiki.ds-map.net/doku.php?id=sensor_installation

Take special note about the two Green Yellow wires on the GVR4

ok so i checked power and ground at the map sensor harness all 5 volts ok i checked teh green and yellow wire for the map sensor and ohmed it out back to the ecu pin 16 all checks out there, i also removed the fiav and isc when i installed the front mount and new intake set up. possible there is an issue there?

Did you plug your isc connector in to the injector restance box. :whistling
Stock 6 bolt, gerrat GT35R with PTE bolt on houseing, 2g manifold, apex n1 full exhaust, fic 1450's, wally 255, punishment fmic,
went 12.4 with 16g at 21 psi
