Yeah, I know the studs are 12mm but I can't remember what size bit is supposed to be used to bore out the stud holes to accomodate for the 12mm studs and enough space for oil passage.  IIRC it was a 1/2" bit that was recommended but I can't remember and that info was on the old ds-map.

Yeah, 15/16 is way effing bigger than 1/2". 1/2" is obviously 8/16.  Maybe it's 1/2" or 9/16" ha ha.  I told my machine shop 1/2" for 12mm studs and he agreed that should be good and allow for plenty of oil.

Paul, I also would tend to agree that no news is good news ha ha.  My 2G head is currently at the machine shop as well.  Will you be assembling yours as well or are you having the machine shop do that?

Stock valves just SS i dont remember brand, No to be honest i dont messure that for some reason never had a issue. But as far as head work its just decked lapped, and a comp valve job other than that and my k272s thats it. My hx40 died the night i blew the motor so ima be running the 20g till i get another.

I've always used a 1/2" bit when dropping a 2g head onto a 6 bolt.

Ive used a fresh 1/2 bit all 3 times ive done it. And I install the head first then the washers and studs.

Putting a 2g head on a 90 is a complete diferant story. I could not use my 90'TB on a 2g intake, so I had to re wire some sensors from a N/A 1gb TB and mount them on a 2g TB. Then I had to redisign the way the coils and ignitor mounted on the 2g head.

I guess thats what I get for getting a 90'!

I have an evo 3 intake manifold and 2g coils/bracket so I just hacked the backet to fit on the IM.  I can get pics of my ghetto setup if anybody needs to see it.
