project SLOW1G
« on: September 08, 2011, 02:31:52 PM »
This is going to be the bulid of may car. I have had this car for 2 years now and I have been working on it for 6 months. It was a auto car but I got it with no trans, so It is going to be a 5 speed dsm. My plans are to make it a light weight car with a super clean engine bay and hope to get so high mph time slips at the track with street tires. My pics might be out of time line but thats all I have and I will try to do a better job of taking pics for now on. The car has a 16g on it right now but I have a lot of parts that will get put on with time to come.

Here are some pics when I broght it to my house, it is ugly I payed $100 for it

I noticed you forgot to install your piston recoil springs.

I like to hit my oil pump with an electric drill till I see oil pressure at the top of the head (2 people requirement in the car).

Good idea to do, you know.. cause you want it to last. Then you don't have to worry about the gears breaking off or something retarded like.. packing the oil pump gears.. something I never do.
