Cyclone Intake Manifold and Jackal?
« on: January 24, 2012, 03:38:42 PM »
There a complete Cyclone Intake Manifold with working coil pack, power transister, and butterfly valves. It has a plug and play harness has rpm selector for setting what rpm you want the butterflies in the cyclone to open.

Has anybody with working cyclone  tuned there car with Jackal (RC4 or RC5) or WW?

I have on a stock ecu.
I just use an rpm window switch with the two solenoids and check valve canister.

You mean you are using the USDM ecu with DS-Maps with no problem?

I don't quite understand what you are asking.

I think what he is asking is if he can control the intake manifold by using Jackal.

I don't know if you can do it with the jackel interface.

I just code a window switch in a blank section of the code.
I have also used an outboard window switch, summit sells them.

well there is the stock fuel pressure soleniod output that is used in Jackal.  I use it to turn on my water injection pump, but you could easily use it to turn on a solenoid for that.  The red wire grounds when activated.  You can use up to 3 different triggers for it.  IE RPM, TPS and boost etc.  Set them for whatever you like, experiment till its where you want it and bang, you are set.
