Will the new innovative MTX-L Wideband gauge work with Jackal. I originall had a AEM on my Talon, i ended up spinning a bearing and had to sell the wideband and other stuff to pay for a new crank and bearings, I just got everything back together and bought the new MTX-L Wideband from Innovative because alot of people have been saying its way more compatable with tunning software and more accurate that the UEGO. I was just wondering if it will work with Jackal like the LC-1..or is it pretty much the same as the LC1.

Yep, it will work just fine. Iirc the only main differences are that the mtx has the controller built into the gauge, where as the lc-1 does not.

Works great, I was running one for about a month before my car died this last time.  I liked it a LOT better than the  AEM uego.  Program the wideband to match Jackal and now you have accurate logs!  :clap

So an aem will not work as good or is an aem fine to use with jackal?

You can adjust the voltage settings in Jackal to match up pretty close to the AEM and it'll work, but people that are more obsessive with detail prefer Innovate products. Plus, like previously stated, you can program the Innovate to match with whatever software you use if you ever change from Jackal (but why would you).

Good info man. Thanks new to tuning and have an aem.  Was wondering if i had to get rid of it or not. But if it'll work going to use it. I hada narrow band but got tired of the flashing lights lol. They are kind of blinding at night.

I'd still be using my AEM if the damn power steering belt wouldn't have ripped the wires apart and shorted out the UEGO gauge/controoler  :shakefist.

I bought the MTX because it was about the cheapest one I could find on ebay at that time  :)

I switched due to my logs didn't match perfect. It was a pita getting it close. I run the lc1 now and love it. I'll put the aem in the talon for my son.
