Boost control with jackel.
« on: January 09, 2012, 09:47:09 PM »
I have wired a mac valve were my stock bcs was. My main question is how is everyone figuring out the percent per rpm i may sound stupid but i don't get it, is there like a formula like the tuning one that you do?

Take good pictures and I'll throw it in the wiki.

The % is something based on PWM, old code left by Nick, I'll diss it later to figure out the exact values. The higher, the more air it bypasses.. depending if you set it up as a bleeder. Something like that.. I'll have to take another peek.

Any more info on this? Just put on my Mac 3 port valve. I have it setup as Port 1 Vented with brass filter. Boost coming in on 3 and wastegate on 2. She wasnt building boost much. Felt like I had the Boost source plumbed directly to the wastegate. Ill double check and make sure the Valve is functional but the settings kinda through me for a quick loop as they went from 0% to 531%.  Thanks for any help

Has anything ever came of this? I checked the wiki page and there's nothing there about boost control.  I have a 3 port ingersoll that I would like to use.

I tried it as well and couldn't get the percentages figured out to make it work right.

What do you mean when you say "percentages?"
