nitrous control
« on: March 07, 2011, 06:17:40 PM »
I was wondering if there was any chance maybe getting nitrous control.  I'm running an auto and am wanting to use nitrous for spool up purposes.  So how hard would it be to implement something like this or is it something that would even be considered?  Pretty Please ;D

Use the FPS control to trigger it ?

You might have to walk me through that.  I don't know that much about hobbs switches or the fps controls, but what I'm looking for is it to turn on at say 2700 rpm and then off at a certain psi.  Could I do that or do I have to use just rpm or just psi?  Looking at the boost control table it looks like I could do what I want but I'm not sure exactly how it would work.

Look through the FPS rules, you can make up to 3 sets of rules that need to be true, for it to activate.

Basically you use the ground on the FPS, to signal your unit to purge. So you run them hot, and the ecu clicks over the ground to juice her up.. like on a button activation or whatever.

Where can I find the FPS rules?  Just to warn you if you haven't already figured out I'm a complete electronics, computer, etc..  idiot. :'(  You'll probably have to spoon feed me if you have the time although I'm in no big hurry as I'm currently swapping shells.
Thanks
